Jeanie came to the studio for the first time recently and the first thing she did was apologize for her pale skin. And it was, indeed, very pale, but that is never something to apologize for.
Tanned skin is dramatic and it’s very easy to highlight form and shape, muscles just pop and every detail is readily apparent. Pale skin requires a lot more work to light, but when we get it right, it’s amazing in new and different ways.
And I do believe we got it exactly right for this shoot. =)
