Sometimes my photographic process is clear, and there’s a straight line from the shoot to the final image: shoot, select, adjust, straighten, crop, render, polish, done.

But sometimes you have a photo that just invites tinkering, and you go through endless iterations. After a very short time every tweak to the colour starts to look normal, so you push farther and farther and… It’s gotta be reigned in before it gets out of hand, like that time I worked on Dani for so long she ended up green.

But this post is about Katelyn.
