Back in 2017 I did The Silhouette Project and it was a lot of fun. Now, in 2019, I want to do another one, this time moving beyond pole dancing and bringing in athletes and performers from multiple backgrounds.
I want to do silhouettes because, as I explained last time, they allow the image to convey strength, grace and the sensuality of movement, with the raw power and appeal of the naked body. Silhouettes offer a hard clarity, a stark purity of strength and motion, without the distraction of nudity.
And so, if you’re here, you may be wondering if you really want to volunteer. This is what you need to know:
- It’s a nude thing. Yup, totally starkers.
Oh sure, the usual shoot info still applies. It’ll take about an hour and a half, two hours at most. Bring your usual gear (water, etc) and a move list, things you can do that you think make you look great. If you can spare time on a weekday, your chances of picking your own session time are vastly improved.
That’s basically it. Show up, strip down, be awesome, and I’ll do the rest. ^__^
Here’s the kind of images we’ll be creating:
Participants will receive two high res edits of their choice, plus medium res images of all the edits I complete for the project.
