Recently someone posted an image from a shoot I did eight years ago, and I asked her if she meant to post the unedited image because it was obviously unfinished. She said the edited image may have been lost because she didn’t know where it was, so I checked my archives and… Well then. Eight years ago I didn’t do any editing. Images were shot, the raw files adjusted to taste, and then JPGs were served up to the client.
So I took that image and edited it, and it’s interesting to see what a difference eight years makes. This particular image didn’t need the pink toning, the original was quite well coloured as it was, but I prefer it over the original and so does the client. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
