This pose, performed in a spin around the pole, created a few really good angles. Two of these next three are the same image, one cropped and one wide. The third is a tight crop because I love the flow of light across her abs and her face is perfectly lit. This isn’t accidental. Each of these hard black-and-white shots has some tweaking in it to bring out the details. More light here, less there, to enhance the visibility of the details that make the bodies as awesome in the photo as they are in the studio.<\/p>\n

These next two are really good, but not top-tier, IMO. The colour one is really lovely in context but on its own I feel like it’s a bit more of a technical sense – her skill and the quality of the image – than anything you’d want to hang on a wall. I love it or it wouldn’t be here, but it’s A grade, not A+. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

The black and white shot is… Really lovely but it lacks the hard edged punch that many of the other images have. In order to capture the details I had to make too much of the image too bright and it stopped being the technical success I wanted and became another image that’s great in the context of the whole but doesn’t stand as strong on its own.<\/p>\n

This next shot is one that took a while to really dial in. It started off as a lovely shot until I accidentally reset the saturation slider and it erupted into a fiery new life. And then I kept tweaking it. The nipples are too dark, and would it be good in a different colour…<\/p>\n

Laurynn was in the studio recently for a Pure shoot, and it was a smashing success. <\/p>\n

We started off with a few shots that were more instagram-friendly:<\/p>\n
