This next shot is interesting. We were thinking of some extreme perspective shots, and I wanted to try my new lens out. It’s super wide, as wide as my Tokina fisheye (which maxes out at ~14mm on full frame) but rectilinear – no curved fisheye distortion. <\/p>\n

It’s too wide, and it makes her leg look super skinny. We didn’t get any really good shots from it, but this one’s not too bad:<\/p>\n

So we went back to the trusty 50mm, which I use for about 98% of my shoots. <\/p>\n

I think I have found a lighting style that’s versatile and makes my synapses tingle. Smooth skin and highlights really, really work for me. Even the shots on the floor really make me happy… <\/p>\n
