The Pantheon Project
NFGphoto presents a very special project, featuring the strongest bodies, built of effort and passion and tears.
Why Pantheon?
The Pantheon, from an old Greek word that roughly meant common to all the gods. The modern word usually refers to a collection of gods.
The Pantheon Project is dedicated to bodies of strength, of capability, of beauty and movement.
Strong Bodies
As a photographer I've focused (heh) on strong bodies of all kinds for about a decade now. It's the variety of these bodies that inspired this project. No two are alike, even when they are built from the same activity.
I wanted to illustrate the differences and similarities between them. Each one beautiful, and capable of so many incredible things.
The Images
The project is divided into two sections:
First, The Pantheon itself, an array of gods, where every body is similarly framed.
The remaining galleries illustrate the beauty and capabilities of these bodies, and hint at the methods of their creation.
